Let’s break it down:

What will I receive?

  • 60 min on-boarding zoom call

  • TrainingPeaks Basic access (you must cover the price to upgrade to premium if you want those features); this is where all of your workouts will be uploaded and analyzed

  • Goal setting for training plan and overall race season (via Zoom video check-in)

  • Personalized training plan written to fit your lifestyle, time and equipment availability, and skill level

  • As needed (minimum once monthly preferred) 30 min zoom check-in, this is our time to talk about training changes, nutrition and how we will use it to fuel your body to perform at its highest, and discuss any schedule changes coming up

  • FREE video analysis for swim, bike, run, and lifting form

  • Unlimited communication via Email/Phone with same day response time

  • Race Strategy, equipment/gear selection, race nutrition/hydration, pre-race in-depth discussion, and general advisement

  • Training & race nutrition/hydration discussions to ensure optimal training and race execution

  • TKT Swag: Swim Cap (triathletes only), Sticker, Decal and access to purchase customized team gear through Zoot Store (when open)


What if I have a busy work/home life schedule?

No problem! My job as your coach is to ensure your workouts reflect not only your goals but your busy life in and out of training. I am a mom of two so I get it. Workouts will be written to reflect your time and equipment availability and adjusted as needed as long as you let me know your schedule needs updating.


How long should I plan for coaching?

This is very individual dependent, but here are the time frames I recommend for specific race distances:

  • Marathon or shorter run: 4 months

  • Olympic or shorter triathlon: 4 months

  • Ironman 70.3: 6 months

  • Ironman 140.6: 9 months

If you are not a strong swimmer or need a lot of swim instruction I would add at least 2 extra months to the triathlon specific time frames above. If you’re still not sure what time frame you may need for successful race execution but also injury prevention, please email me a kellyann@trikamtrainingllc.com explaining your situation.


Does this include nutrition coaching?

In short, no. As one of my athletes, we will go over your specific training & racing fueling needs for nutrition and hydration but when it comes to lifestyle nutrition guidance that is not included in this athletic coaching package. You would need to purchase either the Nutrition Advising or Consultation options for lifestyle nutrition needs.


Please remember all workouts, fueling advice and recommendations are always to be discussed with your doctor prior to implementing into your life.

FAQs

  • No. This is something I would NOT recommend signing up for if you only want strength training. I do not provide customized strength training plans anymore due to high need of modification needs. I do provide strength training within my run and triathlon coaching plans specific for your equipment access, goals, and time availability, but again if your specific goal is for strength training, this is not the plan for you.

  • No problem. I get things come up in life and goals change. You are able to cancel your training subscription anytime here on the website. Simply sign in to your account and cancel your monthly subscription or message me and I can do it for you.

  • I offer 50% off your next month of training if you refer someone to me for coaching AND they sign up!

    Please reach out to me to let me know who you referred so when they join I can apply that 50% discount to your next billing cycle.

  • No. I do not offer refunds. If you have a payment drafted for a month of training you did not intent to need, I am unable to issue you a refund. I will however still provide you coaching based on what you would like even if it’s not for the goals you originally had established.
